Day 1: Yellow Crane Legend
Yellow Crane Tower (黄鹤楼)
One of the 'Four Great Towers' of China. Climb to the top for a view of the Yangtze River.
Wuhan Yangtze River Bridge (武汉长江大桥)
The first bridge built over the Yangtze.

Hubei Provincial Museum (湖北省博物馆)
Famous for the ancient Chime Bells of Marquis Yi.

East Lake (Donghu) (东湖)
Much larger than Hangzhou's West Lake. Rent a bike to ride along the Greenway.

a historic, commercial pedestrian street known for its blend of century-old European architecture and modern shopping and dining.

3. Transportation
Arrival
- Air:
Metro Line 2: Best all-rounder; 5 yuan, 40-50 mins to Jianghan Rd, Jiedaokou, and Wuchang Station (ends 11 PM).
High-speed/City Rail: Fastest option; booking via 12306 app needed. ~15 mins to Hankou Station, ~30 mins to Wuchang Station.
Airport Bus: Savior for night arrivals. Line 1 to Wuchang/Aviation Rd (20+ yuan), Line 2 to Wuhan Station (45 yuan).
Taxi/Ride-hail: 40-80 yuan; best for luggage and door-to-door service. Use apps for price transparency.Check flights via
- Train:
Wuchang Station: Near Yellow Crane Tower and East Lake. Serves mostly regular and sleeper trains. Linked by Metro Lines 4 and 7. Pick this for sightseeing.
Hankou Station: Near Jianghan Rd and Gude Temple. Serves high-speed and regular trains. Direct access via Metro Line 2. Pick this for heritage and the concession areas.
Wuhan Station (High-speed Hub): Furthest from the center but has the highest frequency of trains. Linked by Metro Lines 4, 5, and 19 (Lines 4 and 5 reach core areas). Pick this for major high-speed rail connections.Check trains via

- Metro: Very efficient. Connects all three towns (Wuchang, Hankou, Hanyang).
- Ferry: Public ferry from Wuhan Guan to Zhonghua Lu (1.5 CNY). Best river view.

Busy, historic commercial street, good for shopping.

- Weather: One of the "Three Furnaces" of China. Summer is incredibly hot. Best in Spring (Cherry Blossoms) or Autumn.
